Welcome to the first homepage edition of i2P for 2012.
In many ways it has been a slow start to the New Year because of having to deal with the “leftovers” from 2011.
One of those items for i2P was that a third-party provider to the site did not advise of a code change to the security section in our subscribe panel, creating a range of frustrated subscribers not able to get on board.
We apologise to all those potential subscribers who were unable to register with us in the second half of 2011, but if you try once more you should have no problem.

The Minister for Health and Ageing, Nicola Roxon and Member for Leichhardt, Jim Turnour today (20 May 2009) announced that the Rudd Government will provide almost $600,000 to improve Indigenous health care services in Far North Queensland.
The Government will provide $307,000 a year to the Apunipima Cape York Health Council to employ an additional community GP who will provide primary health care services in the Mapoon and Napranum communities on a shared basis.
In addition, the Rudd Government will provide $291,000 a year to assist the council to implement a ‘family-centred’ primary health care model in Mossman Gorge, with the Queensland Government to establish a similar model in Mapoon.
The Minister for Health and Ageing, Nicola Roxon announced that the new funding will also be used to employ additional management and health worker staff who will implement the model in both communities.
The family-centred model of care is designed to provide local Indigenous people health care services in the comfortable and familiar surroundings of their communities.
It will help improve access to primary health services, early intervention and prevention of acute illnesses, and the management of chronic disease – all provided within the existing structures of Indigenous communities.
